I have been playing around with Google Buzz, and so far, I only hate the fact that Facebook isn't involved and that all the posts go to my Inbox and my Buzz folder. (There is a way around the second problem--just set up a filter for label:buzz and you're set.) I probably won't use it much on the business side, since I can sync my Twitter and blog posts to run into my Buzz account. I don't think automating for the purpose of saving sanity on one more social site is going to hurt anyone.
To better establish protocol for the future, I've been pulling my business-related Google Reader subscriptions over to my business gmail address that is linked to YouTube and other Google sites, just helping me keep personal life and work life separate. I've been trying to figure out how to become less emotionally attached to my job, in the sense that if something doesn't get approved in time, I don't feel bad and think it is a reflection on me. No, it is just because the person didn't have time to approve it.
Anyway, what do you all think of Google Buzz? It's very unlike me to be an early adopter on anything, but I figured it would be fun to try something new.

I love Google products, but (besides Gmail) so few people I know use them, so the sharing products like Reader and Buzz, even though I like them, don't have a lot of value to me in terms of finding out what people are doing/thinking/reading. Facebook shows me what my friends are talking about, Digg/Reddit/StumbleUpon/etc. show me what strangers are talking about. Maybe I just need more Google-using friends. :)
